Our commitment
Woloomo aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA across all user-facing properties — woloomo.com, cue.woloomo.com, the CUE caretaker dashboard, and all marketing material. Where CUE itself is concerned, we go further: the entire product experience for the end user is voice-first, screen-free, and requires no visual acuity to operate.
What this means in practice
- Voice-first product design. The visually-impaired person using CUE never touches a screen, never manages an app, and never memorizes gestures. One wake phrase: “Hey CUE.”
- Semantic HTML and ARIA. Our sites are built with proper heading structure, landmark regions, and labeled interactive elements for screen-reader users.
- Contrast and typography. We target AA contrast ratios, use adjustable font sizes, and avoid color-only signaling — a company built on color naming should be the last to rely on it for signage.
- Keyboard navigation. Every interactive element is reachable and operable without a mouse.
- Caretaker dashboard. The admin interface used by family members or facility staff is tested with screen readers, because caretakers often have vision loss of their own.
Where we fall short
We're a small team and we're not perfect. Some parts of the site may not yet meet AA across every page state, particularly where we've built interactive widgets ahead of a full accessibility audit. We're committed to fixing those as we find them, and we welcome reports.
Found an accessibility issue? Email [email protected] with “Accessibility” in the subject line. We treat these reports as bugs, not suggestions, and we respond within two business days.
Assistive technology compatibility
Our sites are tested regularly with VoiceOver (iOS, macOS), TalkBack (Android), NVDA (Windows), and JAWS. Voice-control browsing (Voice Control on Apple devices, Voice Access on Android) is supported throughout. If your preferred assistive technology is missing here, tell us and we'll add it to our test matrix.
Ongoing work
We plan to commission a third-party accessibility audit of all user-facing properties before shipping a meaningful volume of CUE devices. We will publish the findings, not hide them. If you represent an accessibility audit firm and would like to be considered, please get in touch.
